The poem by John Betjeman reminded me of the circumstances in which I found that my mother had passed away overnight, so this is a personal ‘in memoriam’ piece for me. It is published by Universal Edition.
This again is one of the John Clare series of pieces, setting a variety of poems into a cycle shaped as through Clare’s life. The score is in preparation for Universal Edition.
